Our Story
It starts with a simple question.
What if we all care?
Procare9 was formed around a belief that is both gentle and urgent: every person matters, and every dream matters. Founder Rahaman Nunoo is establishing the initiative in the Netherlands with a vision to work with communities in Ghana. We do not treat care as a feeling that stays private. We treat it as a responsibility that can become action.
Every person matters.Every dream matters.
Our Vision
The long-term vision of Procare9 is simple and demanding: communities where care is not a slogan, but a way of living. We work toward a future in which opportunity is shared, dignity is protected, and people are not left to face life alone.
Our Mission
To create hope, opportunities and stronger communities by connecting people and turning care into meaningful action.
Our Dream
A world in which every person is seen, every dream is taken seriously, and communities have what they need to grow with dignity.

Why community matters
Community is where dignity is either protected or forgotten.
Community is where dignity is either protected or forgotten. It is where children learn what they are worth, where families find strength, where older people are either included or left aside, and where clean water is either within reach or a daily struggle. Procare9 exists because community is not automatic — it is built, patiently, by people who decide to care. That includes borehole projects for deprived communities.

The Netherlands × Ghana
Two places. One shared purpose.
The Netherlands and Ghana are more than two points on a map. They are places of people, history, talent and need. Procare9 seeks to connect people, organizations and communities across these locations through shared care and practical action — without reducing either place to a slogan.
The path
How a question becomes a movement.
01
A question
What if we all care? The work begins with a question large enough to include everyone.
02
A conviction
Every person matters. Every dream matters. Dignity is not earned. It is recognised.
03
A connection
People, volunteers, organizations and communities are invited into relationship — particularly between the Netherlands and Ghana.
04
A practice
Care becomes action through children, families, older people, education, mentorship, youth development, Football for Hope, borehole projects, and items gathered and donated to people in Ghana.
05
A tournament
In 2024, Procare9 organised the FX Rahman 9 Cup 4Tuna De Volta Tournament in Ghana, bringing together 16 teams in Volta football.
06
A future
The work continues: more belonging, more opportunity, more communities strong enough to hold one another.
Where we're going
The work is a direction, not a finished list.
We are building toward deeper relationships, stronger local initiatives and more ways for people to participate. The destination is not a finished programme list. It is a culture of care that keeps making room for the next person, the next dream, the next act of courage.
