Procare9 focuses on children, families, older people, communities, education, mentorship, youth development, Football for Hope, borehole projects, and items gathered and donated to people in Ghana. The sections below describe our areas of work. Existing activities and future plans will be distinguished as they are confirmed — we will not present plans as if they are already happening.

Childhood should be a time of safety, curiosity and possibility. Procare9 focuses on creating opportunities for children through education, mentorship, safe spaces and meaningful experiences.
Purpose
To help children grow with dignity, confidence and the belief that their dreams matter.

Strong communities begin with supported families. We work toward practical help and connection so households can thrive together.
Purpose
To strengthen the everyday environments where people are loved, protected and encouraged.

03 — Focus area
Ageing should be met with respect. Procare9 promotes dignity, companionship and practical support for older people.
Purpose
To ensure older members of the community are seen, valued and included.

Offer companionship, practical help, or support programmes that honour older people.

We support initiatives that bring people together and create lasting opportunities — locally and across the Netherlands and Ghana.

To help communities grow stronger through connection, shared care and practical action.

05 — Focus area
Clean water is a foundation for health, dignity and daily life. Procare9 undertakes borehole projects for deprived communities — so families can draw safer water close to home, rather than relying on distant or unsafe sources. A borehole is practical care: water that can be shared and trusted.
Purpose
To bring a reliable water source within reach of communities that have gone without.
How you can participate
Help fund a borehole, partner on a water project, or support the communities these wells serve.
06 — Focus area
Procare9 gathers items and donates them to people in Ghana. This is practical care — goods that can be received, used and shared in daily life.
Purpose
To put useful items into the hands of people who need them.

07 — Focus area
Education opens doors. Procare9 supports learning as a pathway to opportunity, confidence and a wider future.
Purpose
To help young people access knowledge, skills and the belief that they can go further.

Mentor a learner, support educational resources, or partner on learning initiatives.
08 — Focus area
A trusted voice can change a life. Mentorship is one of the ways Procare9 helps people grow — through guidance, encouragement and presence.
Purpose
To connect experience with potential, so no one has to figure out the future alone.

Become a mentor, share your profession, or help us grow mentoring circles.
09 — Focus area
Young people need more than advice. They need opportunity, belonging and a chance to lead. Youth development sits at the heart of Procare9.
Purpose
To help young people grow in character, skill and hope.
How you can participate
Coach, mentor, sponsor youth programmes, or create pathways for young leaders.
10 — Signature
Football can be more than a game. It can be a reason to dream. Football for Hope uses the pitch as a place of teamwork, confidence, friendship and opportunity — including tournaments such as the FX Rahman 9 Cup 4Tuna De Volta Tournament, organised in Ghana in 2024.
Purpose
To turn play into belonging, discipline and hope for young people and their communities.
How you can participate
Coach, sponsor kits or pitches, partner on youth football, or support the wider programme.
